Recruitment Officer (Fostering)

Job Introduction

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, who is passionate, dynamic and an excellent communicator, who will help and support us with creating recruitment campaigns for Foster Carers and Children’s Social Workers. So, if you have experience in recruitment and want to be part of an experienced and highly effective team then we want to hear from you. 

This post is a twelve-month contract, the successful candidate will research ideas, helping develop effective marketing campaigns to recruit Foster Carers and Children’s Social Workers. You will help us get ahead of the game by supporting and contributing to develop a marketing strategy in a highly competitive market. 

You will be part of a committed, supportive and effective Team. We will offer you an induction, training, and ongoing support. 

 

Main Responsibility

  • To research and develop marketing strategies to recruit Children’s Social Workers and Foster Carers.
  • Develop relationships with customers, internal and external colleagues in addition to stakeholders to assist with the recruitment of Children’s Social Care and Foster Carers.
  • To manage and review the Marketing and Recruitment Strategy with Children’s Services Leadership Team, which includes managing the recruitment enquiry line, responding to all initial enquiries in a timely manner and ensure all Social Workers/ Foster Carers are sent relevant information.  
  • Working with Communication and Social Media colleagues to devise and implement recruitment plans, campaigns and activity.
  • Be responsible for the onboarding of new recruits to Children’s Services to ensure compliance with HR and Legal processes.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of social media platforms in order to maximise recruitment.
  • Degree education or a Level 4 CIM in Marketing qualification or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in recruitment and marketing desirable
  • Someone who is creative and can come up with campaign ideas
