We're recruiting a Residential Support Worker to join our team at Westminster House, working with children and young people with learning disabilities and their families, following a detailed care plan.

Main Responsibility
- Provide advice, guidance and support as part of a 24/7 service.
- Communicate clearly using verbal and non-verbal methods tailored to individual needs.
- Contribute to safeguarding, health and wellbeing.
- Develop skills to de-escalate and manage challenging behaviour.
- Maintain accurate records in line with regulations.
- Work within a regulated activity providing unsupervised care.

If you’re offered the role, we’ll arrange an Enhanced DBS check as part of our pre-employment process (unless you’re already registered with the DBS Update Service).

Our roles are either designated ‘site based’ or ‘home based’. ‘Site based’ roles can include up to two days a week working from home whilst ‘home based’ roles are based at home four days a week. Of course, managers designate which category roles are in based on the needs of the service and the circumstances.
