Quality and Compliance Deputy Manager

Job Introduction

The Quality and Compliance Team (QCT) is responsible for the monitoring and management of both Adults and Childrens Providers delivering care and/or support to Milton Keynes vulnerable young people and adults.  The contract monitoring procedure consists of a quality assurance, performance management and contract compliance process.

We now need another person to join our exciting team who has experience in the above fields and has experience in managing a team.

Main Responsibility

The role requires the post holder to liaise with a number of stakeholders to provide expert advice and information regarding Social Care across Adults and Children’s:

  • Milton Keynes Council internal teams 
  • Voluntary and Independent sector providers 
  • Service users and patient representatives 
  • Relevant national and regulatory bodies 
  • Clinical Commissioning Group
  • Public Health
  • National Health Service
  • Other local authorities

The Ideal Candidate

  • Will have a professional qualification (management, health or social care)
  • Has at least 3 years’ experience of working in performance or contract management for the NHS or Social Care in a Local Authority
  • Has knowledge and working experience of commissioned services
  • Has experience in managing staff
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Has excellent computer skills
  • Can evidence of commitment to continuing professional development
