Job Introduction
The Client Engagement Team (CET) is part of the ICT & Print department of Milton Keynes Council, providing IT support and development for all business areas in the council. CET provides the ability to convert business needs into IT systems, working with the Business Area and IT Colleagues
Currently we are migrating our IT Infrastructure to the Cloud with unstructured data being moved into MS SharePoint and back end systems being migrated to an Azure platform.
We are looking for a business analyst with a skill set in gathering and understanding business needs and a working knowledge of M365
Main Responsibility
- Manage a portfolio of tasks gathering business needs based on the business case for that task.
- Working with IT colleagues to identify IT solutions where appropriate
- Provide a point of contact for business areas for one off tasks that require support from IT
- Manage the workload using Prince 2 principles
- Report on progress against plan and ensure time is recorded to enable better estimation for future tasks

- An individual with good communication and interpersonal skills able to interact with senior management and operational staff equally
- An individual with an ability to Multi-Task and prioritise tasks appropriately
- Delivery of projects on time and within budget
