Join our dedicated Housing Solutions Team in Adult Services.
We provide vital support to residents who are threatened with homelessness or already homeless, offering advice and practical solutions in line with current legislation.
You'll be the first point of contact for new enquiries, helping people access the right services and support.
This rewarding role requires a Basic DBS check and offers the chance to make a real difference in our community

Main Responsibility
- Act as the first point of contact for new enquiries and gather essential information.
- Provide clear advice on housing solutions and signpost to other services.
- Arrange homelessness assessment appointments and assist residents in accessing support.
- Respond to enquiries via phone, email and duty-to-refer notifications.
- Collect and manage documents securely for colleagues.
- Attend meetings and events to promote the service and assist with administration.
The Ideal Candidate
- Communicate clearly and effectively with different audiences.
- Have excellent customer service skills and work well in a team.
- Be empathetic and non-judgmental towards people in stressful housing situations.
- Understand homelessness legislation and housing solutions.
- Be accurate and confidential when handling personal information.
- Ideally have experience in housing or a similar field.
If you are offered the role, we will carry out a Basic DBS check and BPSS referencing as part of the pre-employment process.

Our roles are either designated ‘site based’ or ‘home based’. ‘Site based’ roles can include up to two days a week working from home whilst ‘home based’ roles are based at home four days a week. Of course, managers designate which category roles are in based on the needs of the service and the circumstances.
