Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Family Assessment and Support Team (FAST) for a 12-month secondment as Deputy Team Manager.
FAST’s busy Family Time Service supports hundreds of children, offering more than 750 hours of good quality and positive family time sessions each month.
This role is responsible for the day to day running of the Family Time Service. You’ll liaise with Social Workers and Managers who often require urgent responses from Court so good communication skills are essential.
You’ll ideally have experience in supervising a team, but we welcome applications from all qualified social workers.

Main Responsibility
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Family Time Service, this includes the screening and management of referrals, planning and review meetings, supporting families and carers with accessing the service and managing a large staff workforce including: Social Worker, Senior Family Time Workers, Coordinator, Family Time Workers and Relief Staff across 2 venues and in the community.
