Support Worker - Apprentice

Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Job Introduction

We have a brilliant apprenticeship opportunity to start your career in support work, where you can gain qualifications and skills as you work to support adults with learning disabilities.

We’re seeking enthusiastic, caring and dedicated apprentices to become a valued part of the ‘provider services’ team, who provide support and care to people receiving respite care and who use our day services.

Through hands on experience, you’ll learn to support adults with all aspects of their daily lives including personal care, activities, and personal development, and you’ll create genuine connections with them.

You’ll be fully supported and will work closely with your line manager and mentor to learn how to deliver the highest quality of day-to-day care and other important skills. We’ll provide you with all the training you’ll need alongside ‘on the job’ experience.

You’ll work across all our ‘provider services’ from a base in either Tower Drive or Whaddon Way day centres or our short breaks service.

On successful completion of a probation period and a Level 2 Apprenticeship, we expect that the role would become a permanent Support Worker position.

If you have any questions or would like an informal chat about this role, please get in touch with Zainab Mohammed on 01908 252092 or 07824 475476.
