Job Introduction
We’re looking for a Rough Sleeper Navigator to join our progressive Rough Sleeper Team.
The Rough Sleeper Team manage the emergency night provision which provides overnight accommodation for up to 19 people at a time, who would otherwise be sleeping rough.
You’ll be responsible for providing advice and assessment to service users that have experienced rough sleeping.
This is a full-time role, and enhanced DBS check is required.
Main Responsibility
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure there is a Navigator presence, at Emergency night provision.
- Assess the needs of the service users to accurately determine the level of need to support with successful move on.
- Ensure that any interventions, including referrals and sign posting are completed in a timely manner.
- Balance the varying demands of a caseload, maintain accurate individual case records and ensure that all required actions are completed to agreed timescales.
- Partnership work with internal and external agencies to ensure intelligence is gained and shared appropriately.

- Enjoys talking to people and trying to put things right.
- Full UK driving licence and use of a car
- Flexible – you might be asked to change your schedule to cover the emergency night provision.
- Professionally curious – you want to explore and understand what is happening rather than making assumptions or taking a single source of information and accepting it at face value.
