We’re looking for caring people to join our learning disability Respite Service and Day Service to support people with learning disabilities.
We have a variety of hours on offer with early shifts running from 07:30 – 15:30 and late shifts running from 13:30 – 21:30 including weekends and bank holidays for Respite Services. Day services hours are 08:45 – 16:30 Monday – Friday. We’re looking for relief Support Workers that can be flexible and work different shifts to cover staff holidays, sicknesses etc.
Our service is rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and our friendly and professional team delivers high-quality person-centred support. We offer training and coaching in addition to a wealth of in-team experience to help you gain the specific skills you’ll need.
You’ll have excellent communication skills including verbal and written, and relationship building skills. We’re looking for someone who can commit to undertake mandatory training and willing to learn new skills.

Main Responsibility
- Deliver personalised care and support to people with a range of support needs, this may include people with learning disabilities, and/or complex health/physical needs.
- Record information using IT systems as well as giving verbal and written handovers and feedback to colleagues, families and other professionals.
- Complete all mandatory and additional training identified as required, this will include safeguarding vulnerable adults, moving and handling and supporting with medication.
- Provide support in line with individual care plans, reporting changes in a person’s needs, and following instruction from Team leaders and Operational managers.
