Quality and Compliance Co-ordinator

Job Introduction

We’re seeking a Quality and Compliance Co-ordinator to work within the Commissioning team within Adult Services.

The Quality and Compliance Team manages the quality and compliance of all our contracted social care providers on behalf of the city council. We undertake quality assessments to ensure they’re providing the right quality of services to our service users and are compliant with all regulatory frameworks and guidance.

This is a 12-month fixed term role, working primarily with our Children’s Officers to assess, support and deliver quality against our framework agreements.

You’ll be organised and efficient, able to work autonomously and as part of a team, self-motivated and flexible. You’ll also have experience in using IT systems and Microsoft packages.

Main Responsibility

  • Support the Quality and Compliance team with the day-to-day administration of the inbox, emails, and phone demand.
  • Accurate and efficient record keeping, using a variety of online systems.
  • Support the Quality and Compliance Officers with their OOA reviews, including collating information from providers, both on the phone and via email.
  • Maintain the QCT Tracker, team information, and SharePoint information files.
  • Liaise with providers and internal / external stakeholders as required to support the team including signposting and support relating to international recruitment issues.
  • Undertake other tasks to support the team on an ad hoc basis, and support the Quality and Compliance Manager, and Deputy Quality and Compliance Manager with overseeing the service objectives.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A self-motivated person, eager to learn and develop, with the ability to be adaptive to support the team.
  • Able to use Microsoft packages, IT systems, and search and provide information to stakeholders and other partners /teams.
  • Administration experience and the ability to communicate at a variety of levels both verbally and in writing.
  • A team player who is willing to work closely with others to achieve positive outcomes for the service.

Our roles are either designated ‘site based’ or ‘home based’. ‘Site based’ roles can include up to two days a week working from home whilst ‘home based’ roles are based at home four days a week.  Of course, managers designate which category roles are in based on the needs of the service and the circumstances.
