Your Professional Development:

We recently developed and implemented our new career progression framework to create long term stability in the social worker workforce by creating opportunities for progression and supporting professional development. We also provide formal development for experienced social workers by supporting them to undertake practice educator and AMHP training. We provide management courses to help you evolve as a manager.

Main Responsibility

  • As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing the team to deliver the needs of the service.
  • You’ll be instrumental in implementing changes to address the increasing demands of our residents.
  • This role involves managing social workers and social work assistants, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contributing your expertise in rehabilitation and recovery continuing health care and community support.

The Ideal Candidate

  • We’re looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ideally you will have experience in the discharge to assess model and multidisciplinary teamwork.
  • You’ll care about making a positive difference, supporting team development all whilst delivering exceptional care to our residents.
  • Collaboration is key, and a demonstrable experience in building strong relationships is essential.
  • Due to the requirement to work in different locations in Milton Keynes, access to own transport is essential.
  • Applications will only be considered from those who hold a social work qualification and our registered with Social Work England.

Our roles are either designated ‘site based’ or ‘home based’. ‘Site based’ roles can include up to two days a week working from home whilst ‘home based’ roles are based at home four days a week.  Of course, managers designate which category roles are in based on the needs of the service and the circumstances.
