This is a site-based role.

Main Responsibility

As the Corporate Customer Services Manager, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining a high-performing customer service team.

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Leading and inspiring the Customer Services teams to deliver outstanding service at the first point of contact. 
  • Developing and implementing a customer charter to manage and exceed customer expectations. 
  • Utilising technology, including CRM and AI, to enhance service delivery.
  • Creating targeted reports to demonstrate performance and demand across the organisation.
  • Identifying efficiency and cost-saving opportunities through innovative use of technology.
  • Ensuring our most vulnerable customers have access to services through their preferred channels.
  • Managing councillor casework and parish contacts effectively.

The Ideal Candidate

What We Are Looking For:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in customer service management.
  • Extensive experience in customer service management within the public sector or a similar complex organisation.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Analytical skills to manipulate and analyse data, identifying trends and themes.
  • Experience in working with senior managers and influencing decision-making.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.

Our roles are either designated ‘site based’ or ‘home based’. ‘Site based’ roles can include up to two days a week working from home whilst ‘home based’ roles are based at home four days a week. Of course, managers designate which category roles are in based on the needs of the service and the circumstances.
