Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Officer to work within our newly formed Refugee Resettlement Team, supporting guests and hosts under the Homes for Ukraine and Afghan Resettlement Scheme across Milton Keynes.
You’ll join a vibrant and friendly team of resettlement officers and other business support officers, to support the team in responding to concerns received via email, phone, and our online portal.
You’ll be the first point of contact for the public, providers, and colleagues where you’ll provide support, advice, and guidance.
Main Responsibility
- Provide an effective and customer focused business support service for the Refugee Resettlement programme.
- Undertake administrative tasks as requested by the wider team and additionally, work delegated by the Resettlement Officers.
- Book and arrange interpreters, co-ordinating times and venues for appointments and meetings with refugees and colleagues.

- Knowledge of Refugee resettlement/similar national programmes
- Excellent IT Skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks
